We are an owner-operated enterprise which specialises in cycling and hiking tours in the Dordogne and Lot areas of south-west France. |

| Cycle-the-Dordogne is owned and run by an Anglo-French couple - Cliff & Annie Walker. We have lived in the region since 1991 and have worked in the tour business since 1996. As well as knowing the area intimately, we guarantee you an attentive service from the moment you book your tour with us... to the moment you head home after an unforgettable holiday! In addition, as well as being excellent value for money, each tour is personalised to suit your own individual requirements - a major feature that few other tour companies can rival. |

| The region we operate in is one of the most beautiful in France, with marvellous surprises at every turn. Our tours have been conceived to incorporate as many experiences of French lifestyle, culture, history and cuisine as possible. | All the proprietors of the hotels we book for you are known to us personally. All have excellent restaurants and are highly respected locally for their exceptional cuisine. And if you enjoy sampling a range of regional produce, we can plan your tour to coincide with as many bustling village markets as possible. |

| Unlike larger international operators, Cycle-the-Dordogne is delighted to offer "that little bit extra". We can book visits to vineyards in the Lot valley, organise balloon trips which traverse the Dordogne valley... |

|
| ... reserve tickets for the prehistoric caves, such as Font-de-Gaume in Les Eyzies (particularly important during the busy summer months), or plan a horse-riding trek through the fabulous countryside either before or after your cycling tour. Whatever you fancy doing, we’ll try our best to accommodate you. This is your holiday and we want it to be a hugely memorable experience from start to finish. |
